Character's Name: Elisabeth “Lisa Lisa” Joestar
Series: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Timeline: Just after the battle with Kars.
Canon Resource Link: http://jjba.wikia.com/wiki/Lisa_Lisa
What your character can offer: Lisa Lisa is trained the use of “Hamon” or “Ripple Energy,” which (under normal circumstances) she is able to channel through her own body as well as through silk scarves which are specially made to conduct this energy. Outwardly quiet and aloof, she is a deeply passionate and determined woman with a strong sense of loyalty and justice. She also possesses perfect balance, which further aids her skill in hand-to-hand combat.
What items will they be bringing with them? Lisa’s only weapons are her silk scarves, and a pair of small throwing knives, which she rarely deigns to use, but could be easily concealed on her person.
Third-Person Sample: She stood quietly on the dark street in front of the darker building from whence she had just been unceremoniously escorted, her breath a steady susurration in the all too perfect stillness. Sifting through clouded recollection as she tried to ascertain her own whereabouts, she could vaguely remember drifting, like flotsam on a rippling waves of semi-consciousness. All of the blood had rushed to her head, bathing her in scarlet as it flowed from the stab-wound in her upper chest. The blade has almost certainly punctured a lung, but the panic of having her weakness exploited has faded quickly with her inability to breathe.
Subconsciously, her fingers clutched her silk scarf, stealing beneath the fabric to trace what should have been a scar above her smooth, ivory breast, pale in the half-light but otherwise unblemished. She reached around to palpate her shoulder and found it also unmarred. What had happened after she lost consciousness, her life literally hanging by a thread? Had Jojo failed? Had she fallen to her death? Surely not! For she was very conscious of each ripple of air around her, though she could not shake the strange prickling feeling of a limb that’s gone to sleep--as if her soul had fallen asleep inside her body and was just now starting to wake. Perhaps too much so. She pushed the worry aside and steadied her breathing.
They had barely let her get a word in edgewise, let alone answered her questions, before they’d deposited her outside with the electronic device she currently clutched in her other hand. She had no idea where she was, where her allies were…or where to begin looking. One thing at a time, then. She would take a moment to ground herself, and then find somewhere she could be out of the elements for the night before she went out gathering reconnaissance. She was bound to find someone who could tell her something more.
First-Person Sample: What a hassle. Barely an hour in the city and already lost. It doesn’t help that I deliberately led myself on a wild goose chase to escape whatever creature it was that accosted me earlier.
On the other hand, it’s not the disorientation that has me worried. I shouldn’t be feeling out of breath after a little sprint like that. Something’s not right.
Never mind. As you can see, right now, I’m in a very bad mood. I don’t want to see or speak to anyone until I’ve regained my bearings. Centered my focus. If anyone else feels like giving me a hug…? Be ready to die trying.
